Election: BCPSEF Board of Directors

As a voting member in good standing, the BCPSEF Society requests your participation to elect the Directors who have been nominated to serve on the Society’s next Board of Directors for 2026-2027.

In accordance with Part 3, Section 3.2(d) the Society’s Bylaws, the election or appointment of directors is a key item of ordinary business at our Annual General Meeting AGM, scheduled for Sunday, 04 October 2026 @ 7.00pm Pacific time. To conduct this election and meet the quorum requirements outlined in Part 3, Section 3.7, at least 10% of our voting members in good standing must cast their votes.

Your participation is more than just a vote—it’s a commitment to upholding the values and mission of our Society, as stated in Part 2, Section 2.2 of our Bylaws, where every member is called to support our constitution and bylaws. By voting, you help ensure that our Board reflects the strength and diversity of our membership.

NOMINEE PROFILES:

We are extremely pleased to see the range in talent and passion from the 5 nominees who have submitted their names, bios and reason for interest in serving on the Board.

It is up to you, our members, to cast your votes accordingly for whom you wish to see on the next Board of Directors.

The voting methodology enables each Society voting member in good standing to cast a single vote for each candidate up to a maximum of 5 votes.

THE ELECTION DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY AUGUST  20, 2026 AT 11.30PM PACIFIC TIME.

Note: that any votes received after the date/time above, or anyone who voted with a non-voting BCPSEF membership or, an email address that is not associated to their BCPSEF membership will not be counted.

After the election closes, the successful Directors will meet to determine who will be placed into specific positions (ie: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer & Directors at Large) based on each candidates specific area of interest, experience, availability, and to help meet the Society’s strategic direction.

The Board members and their positions will be announced at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (date TBA)
