Hoffe and Chaufan

BCPSEF and United Healthcare Workers of BC (UHCWBC) are pleased to announce Dr. Charles Hoffe will be joining this event.

““`

BCPSEF and UHCWBC invite you to a special members-only joint Zoom session on Sunday, June 29 at 4:00 PM PDT, where we will explore the findings of a recent research study examining the effects of COVID-19 mandates on healthcare workers in British Columbia: “If all of this was about HEALTH, I’d still be working:” Lived Experiences of Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates of Healthcare Workers in British Columbia, Canada.”

This study, authored by Dr. Claudia Chaufan, offers critical insights into how mandates have influenced the professional and personal lives of healthcare workers. With her expertise in clinical medicine and social science, Dr. Chaufan provides a compelling perspective on the real-world implications of authoritarian public health policies—an issue of particular relevance to our members.

About the Speakers
Dr. Claudia Chaufan is a physician and sociologist renowned for her research on the social determinants of health. She investigates how political, economic, and social forces shape public health outcomes, with a focus on conditions like diabetes, obesity, and COVID-19. Her widely published work and leadership in critical health studies make her a respected voice in understanding the systemic challenges facing healthcare professionals.

Dr Charles Hoffe is a rural family doctor from Lytton, BC, who was an early whistleblower to the devastating harm from the Covid vaccines which he saw in his own patients. He has endured four years of persecution by the BC health authorities who fired him from the ER and charged him with professional misconduct and spreading misinformation for publicly revealing the evidence of harm from the “safe and effective” injections.
