It's probably good that former @bcgeu president Darryl Walker didn't win Surrey-White Rock for the @bcndp last year.

That would have made today's legislature 'protest' a bit awkward.

They shouldn't. Political parties will just then use unions to suppress workers. Case in point: B.C. public sector unions and the @bcndp. The current labour strife is costing workers millions of dollars. Plus they colluded to violate workers rights during COVID-19. #bclab
